Do you ever have one of those days where you think to yourself," I'm never going to amount to anything. All these other kids are much brighter than I am and they're quick at learning." Well, I have one of these days, maybe at least a day every other week. It is just important for you to not think about what everyone else is doing. I heard a saying once," If you envy another and begin to turn jealous, in the end your heart will become consumed with bitterness and hatred. And who really wants "the green-eyed monster" picking on them anyway? The first step at being your best is convincing yourself that you are the best "you" you can be. But you also need to surround yourself with people who can see the real "you" and therefore, they will encourage you to stay positive and have good self-esteem. If you believe in what you can become and what your friends and family want you to become, you have not "lost".
